hi! this is asher again, reporting to you from korea (live).
i had my 10 month, 10 day wellness check-up a few days ago, and i wanted to let you know how i'm doing, and ensure you haven't forgotten about me (being the SECOND CHILD and all)!
i'm continuing to wait patiently to be united with my family. they really haven't been waiting "that" long, but when your 10 months old, 4 months of waiting (which is when i found out they were going to be my family), amounts to 40% of my life! that's LONG if you ask me :)
my foster mom has been taking very good care of me. she's noticed i want more formula, and has increased it to 200 cc (=200 ml) every 3-4 fours. i haven't gained any weight since my last visit, but have grown a little taller.
height = 73.3 cm = 28.9 in (44.1 percentile for my age)
weight = 9.3 kg = 20.5 lbs (52.5 percentile for my age)
developmentally, i'm sitting alone very well, and can now walk by myself too!! mommy's unsure what this means -- whether it's a few steps by myself or actually walking, but since i wasn't doing this last month, it's probably safe to say i have just begun taking my first steps! i'm sorry i can't report more accurately ... give me a break, i'm only 10 months old!
unfortunately i didn't pose for any pictures this month, but i do know a care package is en route and should arrive any day now ...
