i can be happy (yes, in a cardboard box!) one minute:

mommy says i should hold up a sign to indicate which mood i'm in at any given time :) i think i'm wearing her down (does this mean i win?!?)!
let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ...
back in feb i put my snow bib to use and headed up to the snow - only to find the weather had been fairly warm, that there really wasn't *that* much snow! nonetheless, i had so much fun with my friends, that it honestly didn't matter that there wasn't much snow. i got a sleigh ride from daddy, built a snowman & went downhill sledding! if only i actually liked wearing my snowpants & boots! that was my longest road trip yet, and i think i survived it because i rode in a suburban (new experience) with friends!
the following weekend, we were all SHOCKED with SNOW in our area!@#$%! it felt absurd to drive north for snow (and not really get it), and then RECEIVE snow 1/2h out from where we live! i ventured it one more time, and probably the last for this season.
my LOVE language
any faithful follower, knows i LOVE cars. what you may not know, is that i LOVE cookies, crackers & cake (bring on the bday parties!). i think i love the letter "C", actually!
i love to use the word "love", until i was introduced to another word ... "heart"! here i am using my new found verb, "heart" ...
then there is aunty C, who had a last minute trip out here. aunty C bought me CARS! i love her too. but not because of the cars. ok, who am i kidding - it's because of the cars.
i also really love coloring now! it could be because i'm coloring cars ... though in the below picture i'm really into coloring letters. i love letters too!
and then there are computers. i'm not certain what i love about them, but i just know i love them - the keys, the mouse, the fact that mommy & daddy use them! it's never too early to start learning how to fix windows. somebody convince daddy we need a mac!!

response to japan tragedy
two weekends ago, when disaster struck japan, mommy & daddy were watching some news on tv. i just woke up from a nap, and they didn't feel it quite appropriate for me to watch all those scenes. they weren't quite quick enough to turn off the tv, and what caught my attention were all the cars heaped as rubble.
i exclaimed, "so many broken cars!!"
daddy said, "yes, we need to pray for them (meaning japan)."
with saddened face, i said, "dear God, please help fix the cars. in Jesus' name i pray, amen."
mommy & daddy melted. it was a moment of spontaneous, raw, compassion voiced as best as i understood the situation.
spelling bee
finally, i have one little secret to share with all of you. i can "read"!
drinking water from my new contigo water bottle, i looked at the label & happily exclaimed, "C-O-N-T-I-G-O spells water!"
while putting on my shirt that states "mischief is my business & business is GOOD!", i looked at mommy and said, "g-o-o-d says mischief!"
ok, so clearly i am not reading, but i am a comedian :) that begins with "C" too!
