out with the "green", in with the "blue"

for as long as i have lived (and i have lived a LONG 2 years), i have not really been "attached" to inanimate objects. stuffed animals that are placed nicely in my bed get chucked (along with any blankets that are loose), toys are played with (and then put back properly -- of course!), and books are read ("not be stood on", as mommy always reminds me). i'm attached to mommy and daddy, but they are not "inanimate objects" (did you know that???).

about two to three months ago, i started getting attached to my "green car" (kelly kompact is her name). she (green car) was previously loved by someone else, and was generously given to me to be loved some more. she was amongst my other toys for quite sometime, but something about her eyes, doors and wheels, simply changed one day! i needed to have her with me while in the car, running errands with mommy, or simply brushing my teeth. if she wasn't in my hand or in sight, i would turn to mommy and ask "mommy, green car?" (she knows ALL things!! you can ask her where your things are too!). my birthday party invitation showed her off in the best possible way. i was attached!

mommy was convinced i loved kelly. and i did! she created a vehicle-themed birthday party for me, which centered around "green car". i was in heaven! she was by my side through out the whole party.

one week later (on my actual birthday), i was opening gifts. my eyes couldn't believe it. my heart raced fast! i was given "blue car" (moe muscle)!! he is FAST and his hood opens to show off his sexy engine. "vroooom, vrooom!!"

oh come on! .. don't tell me you wouldn't do the same!#$%! i'm not talking about a girlfriend here .. i'm talking about my toy cars! :)

admittedly the highlight of this month was my 2nd birthday. i started celebrating one week ahead, which led to probably eating more sugar in one week than my entire 2 years of life, sang happy birthday to myself all month, opened lots of presents from people far and near (thank you!!), showed off my new age to anyone who would ask (holding up two fingers and saying "TWO"), and oh, did i mention all the sugar i got to eat?!

birthday aside, i went to the best halloween party this month!! ok, it's my only halloween party thus far, but it still was the best :) i dressed up as a fire chief, colored baby pumpkins, played with some really cool trucks, ate great food, and oh -- hung out with friends too! mommy & daddy joined the fun and dressed up too!

as a result of all the sweets, i was put on a new workout regimen. can i complain to someone about this??
