curious, but not fearless

my curiosity always gets the better of me. when that happens, i lick it, gnaw it, or bite on it. such was the case this week when i discovered the curtains! it's the coolest thing ever! you can play peek-a-boo with it, use it to stand, change the way the sun beams onto the floor, and of course the ends of it are so yummy! if you don't have some in your home, you should get some!

i also have discovered the answer to my question last week, which was, "what is up there?" i have concluded that big people can see and eat more dust particles since they are higher than me, which is why they want to stand, walk and run! i have been studying these dust particles all week, and have yet to catch it and put it in my mouth, though i'm sure i have had my fair share when i gnaw at the corner piece of the rug.

i finally wore mommy down with my weight, and she let me discover a little bit of the kitchen. the first thing i came upon was the cupboard door!! it can open and automatically close! did you know that? but then if you really open it wide, it doesn't automatically close and that's when you can get all the treats mommy & daddy have been hiding! i need to make sure i keep up my weight so that i can find out what other things they have been 'holding out' on me.

i have been continuing my physical training, learning how to push things around and down. i have mustered so much strength that i have bull dozed mommy & daddy's feeble attempt at 'gating' me off. that will teach them to contain me!


the most fun thing i got to do this week was drive a car (and eat the steering wheel). the most boring was mommy taking me to the post office.

though i have been braving all the new experiences and showing signs that i can be a bully (both to other kids and inanimate objects), i am torn between curiosity & fear of the automatic vacuum cleaner (the roomba)! it makes noises, has lights, and randomly moves along the floor!! the floor belongs to me! how dare it crawl on MY floor!@#$%! i have not figured this thing out yet, and though i fear it less now than when i first saw it, i still feel better if i am higher than it.

pray that i can bully it by next week.
