"hand, go, out, walk"

i may not have all the "filler words" to put a proper sentence together yet, but i am convinced that those words are a waste of my breath. i simply throw together some nouns, verbs, along with some 'action' to back it up, and voila! -- understandable, sufficient communication!

i love to go out (thus my title)! i'm not demanding at all; it can be the park, mall, front yard, backyard, neighborhood, as long as 1) the attention is all on me 2) it doesn't entail shopping for non-food items. come on, can you really deny this face?

lucky for me, this month has been filled with different family & friend visits, along with some post adoption finalization celebration. oh, and of course there was my daddy's first father's day!

for those of you who don't know my daddy, he's a 'white' guy trapped in 'yellow' skin (this is direct application of learning colors :)). nothing made him happier than eating an all-american dinner (turkey a-la-king) with pecan pie & whip cream. i had to give him a kiss to get some, and wear a shirt that publicly declared my love for him. i made him proud that weekend by "helping" him watch the US Open, and learning how to "swing" a golf club. the things i do for him.

so amidst the different family & friends i got to spend time with this month, my cousin from toronto came to visit me for a whole week!! each morning he would come into my room, and i would excitedly shout out his name. he would do a happy dance in my room, while i got my diaper changed. our week was filled with fun outings together, "sticker happiness", trains, dancing, parks, and of course 'sharing' :)

i miss having someone to play with (and get in trouble with) everyday! visit again soon!
